    Description

This auction is for one pair of slippers.  These were purchased in or around Fairbanks Alaska between 1954 and 1956.  They were probably made for the tourist trade at that time by local craftsmen.  At that time in Fairbanks there was a fair trade center for the native people where they sold these types of native arts.  These are in very good condition.  The fur is intact.   There are no tears, damage or missing beads.  As shown, they have newspaper inside to show the shape - these have been in storage for over 50 years.
