Description
Here is a very unusual 10" Black artist doll made as a souvenir for an International Doll Makers Association Convention (I.D.M.A.). The person I got the doll from couldn't remember the exact year but believes he is from the 1990s. I don't know what he is made of- possibly paper-mache, resin or clay. I think his body is made of wire wrapped with cotton or something similar. Unfortunately, I can't find the artist's name so can't tell you any more about the doll other than he is a wonderful folk art style. He is in overall excellent condition with some paint rubs here and there that might have been part of the artist's folk art/primitive style.
If anyone knows anything about this doll, I will be happy to add that information to the listing.
